The Jim Rogers Scholarship was created in memory of our late SME Houston chapter member and mentor Jim Rogers.  It was Mr. Rogers' passion for the manufacturing profession and his vision of a local scholarship fund that inspired us to dedicate a memorial scholarship in his name.

This scholarship is awarded annually to outstanding engineering students within the Greater Houston Area who demonstrate academic excellence or innovation in the field of manufacturing and commitment to community service.

3% Cover the Fee

All contributions to the Jim Rogers Scholarship Fund are tax-deductible, subject to current tax deduction provisions. SME Houston is a non-profit organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our federal tax ID is 74-6061412.
